The History of R`eaper: It all started January 1, 2000 with a group of 3 friends who wanted to play Half-Life:Team Fortress Classic together. It grew to include new local members and eventually spread to the rest of the U.S. and Canada before we conquered all the ladders and tournaments within TFC. At this point, R`eaper's members spanned out to several different games, taking the R`eaper name with them. Again, we conquered all there was to do within Medal of Honor: Allied Assault, CounterStrike, CounterStrike: Source, games in the Battlefield series and Call of Duty series. In 2006, some members made their way to World of Warcraft and others to Guild Wars.
If you're thinking those are the only games we play, you would be mistaken. Our members (now over 400 strong across the globe) have played them all. Some competitively, some for solo play without the bother of random pugs, and some just for some old school fun. Chances are good if you can think of a game, we either have played it in the past, currently play it or have considered playing it!
As a gaming community that's been around for over 9 years, we know a thing or 2 about keeping things running smoothly. We've been there and done it all already. So why do we continue? Because, R`eaper is something so much more than just a clan or a guild, we are a family and we enjoy playing with each other. It doesn't matter the game, or the skill level, we all have something to learn from each other and we have fun while doing it! And that's what gaming is all about isn't it?
